I could not get past the app form for AVIS - it kept saying that my flight number was invalid, its the correct flight number so that was very annoying. I would not bother with them again. Small things like that really do turn you off. I got none of that with the Argus site.

Just wanted to compliment you on an excellent service!!
We hired a van from you over the weekend, to move house. I was seriously delayed in traffic when returning the van to your Santry office yesterday, and I arrived, stressed-out, 30 minutes after the office closing time....only to find the girl (who had been so polite when I collected the van on Friday) still sitting patiently with a smile on her face!! She was waiting for me to arrive back...she even told me to relax, everything was fine, no big deal!! (despite her having a lift waiting outside!!).
I simply didn't think this sort of customer service existed any more. Not many people would sit wasting their time on a sunny Sunday evening for a very very late customer. Unfortunately I was so stressed I didn't ask her name, but she really is a credit to your organisation.
Please pass on my thanks to her again.

Dear sir/madam,
I write to thank and congratulate your company on a very professional
service which I received from you just recently. I applied for a
car over the internet, late on the evening of the 21 Mar 05 which
I needed to pick up at 0800 hours on arrival at Belfast (Intl) airport
the very next morning, 22 Mar 05.
As it was a very late request, I did not receive booking confirmation
before I left home for the airport early next morning. On arrival
at Belfast intl, I approached budget car rentals who confirmed that
they had received the booking from you and the car was as requested.
I am travelling back to Belfast (Intl) in April 05 and will definitely
be using your company again. Not only great value but an excellent
service too.

I would like to follow through on my intention to drop a line to compliment Denise, at your Santry Road Depot, for her friendly and efficient service. We were delayed 10 hours leaving Schiphol, due to the severe freezing conditions on 3 March, and reached Dublin after your office at the airport had shut. Denise showed great flexibility and professionalism in handling our delay and our desire to get to our hotel as quickly as possible.
Every company has a face in the consumer's mind; for us and for our future recommendations to others, Denise has made it easy to promote Argus in the future.
