Malaga Airport is 8 km to the south of Malaga, off the Ma-20 on the Ma-21 roadway. Travellers should be prepared for delays within the grounds of the airport. Parking may be difficult at this time with the high volume of construction traffic. Spaces are located as follow: P0 has 600 spaces, PT1 has 280 spaces, PT2 has 670 spaces and P-3 has 2,000 spaces available. Parking prices average �1.50 per hour with discounts on longer stays. There are also free parking spaces located near the aeronautical activities area near a bus route to the airport.

There are three terminals in the airport. Terminal (T) 1 is for non-Schengen arrivals, T-2 is departures and arrivals from Schengen countries, T-3 is for arrivals and departures of all private flights.

Atms are located in all three terminals before and after the security checks. Banking facilities are available in Terminal 2, open from 08.30 to 20:00, closed from 15.30 - 16.00. There are numerous restaurants, cafes and bars located throughout the airport.�English themed bars, sandwich bars and restaurants serving passengers�hot food should suit all travellers. There is a wide range of shopping outlets that vary form locally produced food delicatessens and souvenirs to the cosmetics outlets and electronic outlets. Toileting facilities are clearly marked in the three terminals. Accessible toilets are located within the general toilet areas. There is reserved seating located near security for travellers with reduced mobility and anyone needing assistance should contact a member of the AENA Information service (green jackets) or Passenger Car Service staff (blue jackets).

There are three VIP lounges available for some peace and quiet. There is a range of facilities including drinks, sandwiches and newspapers. Business travellers might be interested in the lounge suitable for meetings and conferences (must be booked in advance).
