Admission to the museum is cheap at just €7.80 for adults. A trip around Lake Constance in a Zeppelin Aircraft is a unique and remarkable experience. Costing upwards of €335 per flight, it is certainly not cheap and probably won't make it onto the itinerary of a budget traveler.
The lakeside promenade of Friedrichshafen is a gorgeous esplanade that affords fantastic views of both the lake and the surrounding Swiss and Austrian alpine landscape. The lookout tower at the entrance to the harbour in Friedrichshafen is one of the city's new major landmarks. Climbing six levels up the steel staircase will bring you to a viewing platform that provides a spectacular panoramic vista of the Lake, the harbour, the Alps, and the town itself.

Friedrichshafen is home to a number of restaurants, bistros and cafés where local and seasonal cuisine can be enjoyed at reasonable prices.
